LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Kentucky State police are looking for a man who they said killed his girlfriend.

Officers said that Debbie Rediess, 46, of Smiths Grove, Ky., was shot and killed at about 7:50 a.m. Sunday at her home.

The state police and the U.S. Marshal Service are looking for Randall Creek, 41, of Bowling Green, Ky., for the shooting.

WLKY has confirmed that Creek is a Simpson County Sheriff's deputy.

Investigators said that Creek went to Rediess’ home and got into an argument with her.

A witness told police that Creek shot and killed the woman.

Officers said they believe Creek fled the scene in his 1997 gray Ford Ranger pickup with some type of military tags with the license number of KY-13650.

Creek was wearing black fatigues and boots at the time of the shooting, police said.

He stands 6 feet 2 inches, weighs about 220 pounds and has brown eyes.
