ZZ Top To Perform At Fort Knox

POSTED: 6:10 pm EDT April 29, 2008

The "Little Ol' Band from Texas," ZZ Top, is scheduled to play their trademark southern-fried boogie at Fort Knox.

Featuring the talents of guitarist Billy Gibbons, bassist Dusty Hill and drummer Frank Beard, ZZ Top's line-up has remained the same since 1969. In 2004, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Blind Melon will also perform.

The general public is invited. Lawn chairs or blankets are recommended because seating will be festival style.

The concert is scheduled for May 31 at Fort Knox’s Godman Army Airfield.
