LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- In a Monday press conference, University of Louisville president James Ramsey and Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson announced the opening of the largest exhibition of artworks by sculptor Frederick Hart.

The exhibit, entitled Giving From to Spirit, is set to open Sept. 5 and will run through Nov. 17. It will feature up to 100 Hart works at several sites on the Belknap Campus and at The Cressman Center for Visual Arts downtown.

“I hope people understand what an important exhibit this is truly going to be and I think there’s great reason to believe people throughout this area of the United States will be coming to be able to engage and enjoy the experience of the sculptures that will be all over our city and throughout the university buildings.”

Admission is free.
