Newschannel 32 Receives 23 Emmy Nominations

Honoring the best in television and multimedia, the Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has announced the 2007 Regional Emmy Nominees.
WLKY-TV received a total of 23 nominations in 21 different categories, including newscast, news excellence and station excellence. WLKY-TV received more nominations than the other local television stations combined.
Anchor and lead Target 32 Investigative Reporter John Boel picked up 9 nominations. Other nominees include Sports Director Fred Cowgill, reporters Jim Bulleit, Ben Jackey, Mike Petchenik, and chief photographer Scott Eckhardt.
The 43rd Annual Midwestern Regional Emmy Awards will be announced on Saturday June 23rd in Columbus, Ohio.
