North Carolina's Green Declares For NBA Draft

(Sports Network) - North Carolina junior forward Danny Green declared for the NBA draft on Saturday.

The junior from Long Island will not hire an agent, joining teammates Wayne Ellington and Ty Lawson who both declared this week but left the door open for a return to the Tar Heels next season.

Green has averaged 8.1 points and 3.9 rebounds per game over his three seasons with North Carolina. He led UNC with an .873 free-throw percentage and was second in three-point field goals with 56.
